Description: A Rubens Tube is a device for visualizing the effect of sound waves moving through a gas by using them to affect a series of flame jets. The sound waves from the speakers at either end create standing pressure waves inside the tube, causing the flames to change size accordingly. We helped Anthony create this sound art piece to be brought to Burning Man.
